ABUNDANOMICS – The Real Wealth of Nations
Economic Perspective
About the Book
Abundanomics is a book introducing ideology that challenges some very outdated definitions of Economics. Definitions that are being taught in schools, colleges, and Universities everywhere in the world.
The book questions the need for the scarcity definition which leads a greed driven society. This definition is the current prevailing and most widely recognised definition of Economics today.
The definition is now nearly one hundred years old, and many things have changed in that intervening period. In many ways, the world has become an Abundant place with many changes that were only pipe dreams a couple of generations ago. From an economic perspective, with so much change, why is the Education system still anchored to 19th Century definitions? It's crucial to reevaluate and update the educational framework to align with the evolving economic perspective definition.
A new education ideology needs to be developed and implemented over many years to recognise the abundance of change.
There have been so many years of the mentality of greed driven into us that it is systemically ingrained in society as well as ingrained in an individual sense.
The prevailing mentality driven by the scarcity definition of Economics which underpins education leads to undesirable and unnecessary outcomes.
We are currently living in an era where changes are being described as disruption. Commonly held views and ways of doing things are being constantly questioned, changed, and improved.
Surely fundamental disruption of the education system is not immune. The Scarcity definition of Economics is no longer valid as we now live in an Age of Abundance.
We are fundraising for Save the Children, and we would love your help!
Funds raised will help to provide vulnerable children in Australia and overseas with access to quality education, healthcare, and protection from harm.

REVIEWS
- "If you are after a different take on traditional economic assumptions and how modern economics is built at least partially on outdated definitions, then you will enjoy Abundanomics. The book questions the fundamental concept of limited supply meeting seemingly unlimited demand that drives so much of today’s economic thinking. It raises the provocative question that perhaps supply is no longer the problem. It poses the question of why, with all the significant advancements in technology and logistics, we can't meet and balance demand across our planet. Abundanomics is a great read and well written for people everywhere. It will make you think about how, through subtle changes in the way we think, we can deliver better outcomes of all people."- Michael Buining"In this book lies an interesting and different way of looking at the “scarcity definition of economics” and then, flipping the coin, to a different way of looking at economics.
